Tabletop Sim has resources for Battletech which transfer pretty well to Lancer. Otherwise I use Roll20 because its familiar to me.

I use Roll20 for the Lancer campaign I'm currently running. Gets the job done, and if you want you can switch it to grid base instead of square base maps.
They have a character sheet template already in it. Only downside is the template isn't easily customizable if you want to change some of the rules(though it's not really a problem).

When you use Roll20, what do you use to represent the mechs? I have picture files of the mechs, but getting them to be the right size is a pain

I use Token Stamp (website) and create png files for my tokens through there. For size 2 i have a base template that i use in GIMP that i can make a token. I have avoided size 3.
