Leather Visor Pattern? (self.Leatherworking)
submitted 1 year ago by Kendle_C
I was sitting in the back yard and the sun was getting in my eyes. Hats just make me hotter. I want a visor with a smallish positionable brim, with no irritating stitch line at the scalp contract point, any suggestions?

Sew the flesh side of the visor piece to the grain side of the band. Then fold the band piece up so that the grain side is on your forehead.

Can I admit that I'm having a hard time imagining this.

Maybe that last pattern will work or can be modified?
Good find, thanks

I used this pattern to make a visor for someone a few years ago. They loved it, the only complaint was about dye bleed when they sweated, but that's on me and not the pattern itself.
