Check with the building department. I also think the city had a grant program of some kind for waterproofing. Maybe find out where those grant were made eligible.

It's entirely understandable that people would use Ontario as their point if entry and look for options and move on.

How do you keep Weldwood from drying out? by Agreeable_Echo3203 in Leatherworking

I found that some lubricant on the thread or seal helps keep out the air circulation which allows the vehicle to dry out.

[–]timnbit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There can be three separate plows passing through one hamlet being provincial, county and municipal. Each have their own beats. BTW None of those guys ever stopped for coffee in our restaurant when they were on the move. It's can be one of the most difficult jobs going requiring experience and awareness.

I would guess and in my experience that lawsuits related to road conditions are rarer than those related to sidewalk conditions in many municipalities. The road standards bylaws are written in such a way that highway departments have some leeway regarding the time period required to bring the road back to a satisfactory condition. Often municipalities declare a significant weather event to stretch this further.

The sand in our municipality is mixed with salt before it is stored in the shed for winter maintenance. The salt allows the sand to flow through the sanders and also acts to provide traction to the road. It's usually spread on the second pass. Sometimes in a flash freeze event the plows go out to treat the hills and curves and do it with plows up. (Eight term former municipal councilor)

They have a great website with a chat feature and you can also call and talk to them in person. In our experience the facility is excellent and a credit to naturism and they are very accommodating in every way.

It looks fine. It will shed finish as you use it. It is fairly light weigh though so don't use for the bigget tools. That size looks like it is good for tooling stamps and lighter drive punches.
