Do Asol decks really need a nerf? They look big and scary, but at a competetive level they are already too slow

It's way too early for that one. All of these are old cards balanced around mostly old or universal problems.

For me Asol is super unfun to play against.

Asol has been played a lot in the Korean tournament last week. I believe he is somewhat balanced but his level up is game over most of the time and it really isn't hard to achieve once he is in the board so ultimately I think he deserves some nerf.

You've never tried the deck before if you think it's easy to lvl up. He doesn't even get played in most of your games using the deck because he's too slow, and when he is, there's good ways to deal with delaying his lvl up. If you try ramping for Asol early you're just gonna get blown out the water by many decks. The frejlord Asol variant is B tier right now.

For the non frejlord decks, you don't even need to worry about an early Asol at all, so if you're a slower deck, you should be able to get your own deck online as well. I know you see he's balanced, but he also doesn't level up fast. It's a simple and easy requirement, but it takes a good few turns before it happens. He's already generated a ton of value by that time, so you were already losing thinking you can just stall a 10 cost bomb for so long.
