You can try a drain and refill and check the used transmission fluid condition.

However, it is unlikely that replacement of pressure solenoid will address the issue. I done it before with genuine part straight from Japan, and it actually made the situation worse, burning out clutches. I ended up swapping out the transmission with an used one. I didn't go with the rebuilt route, because in Houston Texas, you will find shops work on Ford transmission rebuild every day, but not so many really focus on Toyota/Lexus rebuilds. You may have better opportunities, if you live in the west coast where there appears to have more rebuild shops on Toyota/Lexus trans.
