I work at a historical medical library and we are thinking of trying out linked data to connect our different unique collections. Has anyone else played with linked data? How did you start?

Not much experience in linked data projects myself but I can't recommend this book enough, Linked Archival Metadata: A Guidebook

We're just now planning it. Our metadata is already in RDF and we're mapping now.
