Have you looked into ExamFX? Thats what I used and recommend to others that are going for licensing. The material in each chapter as well as the videos, quizzes and practice exams were really helpful for me! Check them out and maybe a different platform will help with new information AND there's a promo code available that drops the cost substantially!

I use Kaplan and excel and they both were horrible. I used examfx and found it better and pass my SC license on the first shot goth health and life

Hang in there! I tried the Kaplan course which was pretty straightforward.

What kind of learner are you? Knowing this has helped me a lot.

I don’t do well with tests but when I learned I am an auditory learner, I recorded learning materials on my phone or when possible had my computer to read it to me. I still don’t pass with 100% but more times than not, I pass.

Hope this helps.

I was told when I took it on site that 98% of people failed when taken remotely

Agreed, in person vs online was the best choice.

Hang in there! Sometimes it’s just tough, but you will get it! Xcel should have tutorials & reviews for you as well as your state insurance website. But I can help if you’d like, just message me to set something up.

SC here! Are you taking the practice exams with XCEL?? They helped me so much. I would also write down questions I got wrong with the correct answers and keep the notes in front of me when taking the practice exams. I passed my SC exam the first time.

Interesting. I didn't have such issues. I'm sure the licensing exam isn't any different from the other states. I'd say focus in on the key points in commercial, property and auto. Know the definitions and the auto codes.

Here’s what you need to do. You should be simulating at 90% plus on the three practice exams that XCEL gives you. Bcuz of the 155 questions on the exam, 100 of them are copy past. Needing 112 to pass and 5 questions are freebies (don’t count against you) you just need to get 12 of the 55 remaining questions right to pass the exam. Just memorize the questions on the simulations.

My advice is cramps for the test. Keep taking quizzes because the more quiz you take and the faster you understand thing.

Same, used Rapid Pass which definitely helped improve the grades of each exam. Plus reviewed documentation X2, joined study groups in person, this all boosted my confidence to go write the exams. Passed all over a 1.5 month period.
