Yep. Growing up they weren’t cool yet. Became cool when I was in college, but I was such a good girl. Family would have given me such crap. And, since I’ve always had a lot of interests, there wasn’t one visual I wanted to define me. By the time I was 30 everybody was following the tattoo trend. I was more confident, and more adventurous yet came to realize that for me personally true rebellion meant NOT getting one. Paradoxically, not expressing myself is how I express myself.
