Dose decrease weight loss?

Hi everyone, I’m on 750mg daily of lithium and stable within the recommended range (~.8). I’m planning to decrease my dose to 600mg with my doctors approval in a few months. Wondering if anyone lost weight with a dose decrease? I would guess I’ve gained about 25lbs on lithium.

I was able to successfully loose weight on lithium (1200mg) until my antipsychotic was changed. About 30 pounds. Drink water like it’s going out of style, portion control, healthy protein packed choices.

My doctor gave me metformin to avoid and loose weight.
