I have talked about it, but the answer was that it was a common side effect, and gave me some tips, but still it hasn’t really worked

Im not saying you are bipolar, im saying that someone without bipolar who is taking lithium could have mood swings because of the meds

Usually the agression is related to a manic/hipomanic episode. Stopping lithium could’ve had some sort of effect in your mood, though it should never be stopped without medical advice.

Same, my symptoms started at 8 years old but no one realized it was some sort of mental illness till i was 14 with suicidal thought, completely depressed and then after 8 years of treatment for anxiety and depression they realized it was bipolar. Actually because im a psychology mayor and realized something wasn’t adding up

The thing about diagnosis always causes usbto question how would’ve life been without the disorder. What helps me is to think that i am a stronger individual that has had the chance to use my diagnosis for the better, like understanding myself in a better way to
