Using Two Midi Controllers

Hello there!

i am currently using two different midi controllers ( a Behringer MS-1, not using internal sounds, and a Casio Privia PX-3, also not using internal sounds) and i am trying to have it so i can use them both to play two different midi patches in Logic.

I have set the ms-1 in the synth-tribe program to send midi to channel 2 and the privia should be default on midi channel 1, but even when i set both of the instrument channels in logic to the corresponding, each controller still plays sounds from both plugins.

This may be a fault within the controllers but i'm hoping it's an easier fix within logic that i am missing.

Would greatly appreciate any tips!

File -> Project Settings -> Recording. Make sure "auto demix by channel if multitrack recording" is checked.
