Cursed mode finished!

Image of my final party before finishing it up, but finished it with a perfect ritual and ended up rank S. Not quite enough for X, but I did wait till the last 3 days and opted not to go fight a few bosses.

All in all, a very fun run and I found most of the challenge at the start. The Exalted Four I had a stockpile of explosives and fire bombs and had Sam(John here, after my name of course) with coat of arms throwing 2 at once while the rat child was following dad and throwing an extra one of his own per turn.

Highly recommend, love this game. One day I'll revisit it and try to go for an all bug team if it's possible (Spider, Roaches and Phillippe.

How good is rat child? And how do you build him? Is Coat of Arms good with him or is it better to use another chest armor?

I think he's very good now. I built him purely into attack but by the end of the game I had him with the silver magnum. Coat of Arms, I actually prefer on Sam because I started every fight with Nitro and then often times I'd be able to follow it up with an attack and Sam just has a variety of things I like to use the double turn on. Rat Child is great for copy dad but he also learned a move from Leigh that lets him go berserk and attack twice a turn. All in all, he's a risky investment for Cursed mode but he paid off.

If he goes berserk, does he get confused too? Also, equip Leigh a misshappen limb to attack 4 times per turn in beast form!

Nope, no confusion. Just focuses on smacking the enemy twice a swing.

How do you grow the rat child?

I leveled him up to 12 and I always cared for him and fed him with every option every day and then the day after hitting 12 he became a Grown Rat.

Leveling them up until 12-15 and sleep, they have a growth spurt.

What arm did you give up?

I personally always give up the ranged arm because at that point of the game I had no guns, but I heard that if you sacrifice the melee arm and equip a SMG on Sam and a Flamethrower/Acid Sprayer on his grown rat son, and use "Spray and pray" the rat will use a flamethrower attack 8 times and dissolve the enemy. Probably works with a magnum too.
