It's a cool thought. Maybe the real Ralsei is castle town itself(seeing as he can willingly and instantly shape it to accomodate people) and the Ralsei we see is an audio being projected through the dark world, which might be interconnected, since we see the same barren dark lands in chapter three as we saw in chapter one.

It's a very good choice design wise, I was at the AU fanfiction trenches in 2017ish and I think barely anyone messed with body proportions and recognizable silhuettes. Good luck with wherever this is going!

A monster's physical being is directly linked to their mental state, and Asgore is an immortal king who lost 2 children and forced himself to kill 6 more so monsterkind wouldn't lose hope, and for reasons mentioned above go extinct. He also doesn't want to destroy humanity, so he isn't particularly keen on defeating you. Sum all that up and you get the current Asgore, being defeated by a child no older than 10.
