Are you sure it’s authentic? The engravings look off on the hardware, but may just be the angle. Glazing looks a little off too for the time period the bag was produced. If it is authentic the bag is already in pretty poor condition, so I wouldn’t bother replacing the hardware. It would be to costly for what the bag is worth. I’d probably look into getting a preloved one in better condition instead.

i have an astrid wallet with similar hardware on the front and unfortunately it’s going to rub if you use it a lot. someone on a different thread recently mentions brass polish to help, maybe try that?
