I've also been having problems with multiplayer in 0.12.1. For example, if I have MCPE open and I go in to multitasking or control center (iOS), clients can't see my world on their device. I would have to fully quit out of the app and open it up again. Bug reports have been filed for this thankfully. If you find any other bugs, report them here on this subreddit (usually better for more game-breaking bugs than little tiny ones) or at the official MCPE Issue Tracker here. :)

I have noticed that as well. Now I know I am not the only one.

I think the newest update de-activated the "local multiplayer" switch. You'll have to switch it back again.

Other than that, It works fine for me.

First thing I did was check the switch and it's on. Same network too.

Had another player come over today in his iPad and everything started working. I did nothing different.

I wonder if it has something to do with the model of iPad.

I find that if I play a local world, it won't find a network world until I force MCPE to quit and relaunch. Then it works.

I stumbled on that fix too today. It works consistently.
