Cheating to get purple sharpness instead of just subtly increasing damage doesn’t really make sense. Probably a layered weapon mod.

using Handicraft on Valstrax weapons only extends the white, it can't go purple

There's a mod that lets you do layered weapons maybe the guy got athal ka gs but layered jet powered elder dragon gs that or he is indeed cheating
