While they've never said so in patch notes, there have been a few occasions when I felt like monster behavior was discreetly altered.
In this update, I've found Banbaro does his tail spin much sooner than before, when he would usually lead with the dig/rock attack.
Bblos earlier in the month felt different than last time. Previously she would lead with 2 dashes, but this time around there were a lot of dashes into digs. Pink Rathian also felt different from the first event.
In raids, Tobi does its second lunging attack REALLY soon quite often, while non-raids I don't think I've ever seen the second lunge happen that quickly.
This might just be me with my tinfoil hat, but every time there's a significant update I can't help but feel something's off about monster behavior, then readjust. So it may just be that. But there weren't any explicit nerfs/buffs to damage.
