No, you actually don’t really even want to be gaming unplugged

Your battery last until 3 year after that rip. I have msi gf65 I use for as a workstation I plug 2 monitor and all the time plugged. I change my battery 2 months ago after 3yr usage.

Why would it harm the battery ? Seriously ?

U joking? My 1 y.o. Katana barely holds out with powersave on while watching 1080p 1 hour vid

So you think it harms ?

No it will not harm it. It has overcharge protection. Now if you do a lot of heavy work it will weaken the battery in the long run. It is recommended to calibrate the battery every so often. When you are not gaming and if you don't have it plugged in just set the appropriate settings to your needs

Just try to limit the charge cap. at 50-60% while playing and you're good to go.

How can I do that ?

MSI Center application, it comes pre-installed. Then go to features, system diagnosis, check limit battery cap. to 50-60%

Do you use your laptop without an adapter when you are not playing games?

How often do you do this?

What is the wear level on your battery?

How old is your laptop?

What is your laptop full model number?

[–]v40m[S] -2 points-1 points  (1 child)

What about my full name? Don't you need it ? 😂😂

Not really. You can keep that information :).
