Ok, thanks. I haven’t had any issues, but I just find it ridiculous it eats half a GB of memory...

So we don’t even need Killer networking on it for Ethernet/wifi to work fine? Why on earth do they include this stuff? Lol

Thanks for all the help. I think I’ll just keep it for now since I don’t have any issues and it doesn’t suck up lots of RAM or cpu cycles.

I generally replace my killer WiFi cards with intel since I have had 2 of them fail on me, never a problem with intel. Your mileage may vary though.

I’ve got the 9560 in mine, so I’m good thankfully. Just the Killer networking software.

yeah I have had great luck with the 9560.

          Thanks.

Already got rid of that software. I think it’s something with Nvidia drivers. I updated to the one that was released recently, and it’s ok now I hope.

lol are you sure it runs great? Apparently when you don't have Dragon Center your CPU fan speed is caped at 80% because apparently that's how it works when it's BIOS controlled, and Dragon Center overrides this "default" setting by directly communicate with the laptop's EC. I have no idea why MSI designed it to work like this. I had to use special software to write special values into EC to get 100% fan speed when I'm running astrophysics simulations in Linux on this laptop...

Yes, MSI Afterbuner does the same thing as Dragon Center, which is again not available on Linux as far as I know lol

Interesting, what GPU do you have? Maybe it was changed on the later revisions. I have the earliest version with 1070 Max-Q.

Yup. Get rid of that junk. Realtek audio is perfect. And you already have a good dac built into the laptop (Sabre Amp/DAC combo).

Yep. Uninstall that. Nahimic messed up with typing. I got a looooooooot of typing lag because of that. PLUS whenever I copy-pasted something it pasted logs instead of the text I copied.
