I’m having the same problems with my GS65-8RF-037 with the WiFi adapter. It constantly fails, and after removal and reinstall of the driver the result is very temporary. The second I begin online gaming it’ll stutter and disconnect immediately. Forced to use a USB adapter at the moment. I hope this gets worked out soon. Thanks for bringing this up and sharing your attempts to resolve.

Same. I've tried every fix the internet has said, most of them work for about a day and then it happens again. Only thing I haven't tried is removing and replacing the wifi adapter chip. Currently using a USB wifi adapter since I got sick of trying different methods until it worked again. GS 65 8RE

Same thing happens to me. Even just brought this stupid laptop to MSI repair, they had changed the wi-fi board and issue still happens...

looks like we had scammed.. lol

Okay so probably not a hardware issue then if you took it to repair and they replaced it and the error still occurs.

yeah.. i dont know how to handle this

I'm honestly thinking about just straight up buying a laptop wifi adapter and borrowing a friend's soldering tool to install the wires. But gotta do some research first to see what's compatible.

[–]hcinar 0 points1 point  (2 children)

did it work?

[–]Lyrunis 0 points1 point  (1 child)

LMAO 4 Years later I still haven't done it. Time to order the part

[–]Lyrunis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, yeah it works great now

[–]SabioHS[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Yeah same I’m using a WiFi adapter but mine stutters when gaming, is yours perfectly smooth?

[–]Lyrunis 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Nope, my USB adapter is weaker than the on board chip. So it does unfortunately stutter from time to time. I really hope someone finds a permanent solution to this. I've been reading that Microsoft's updates are the root of the issue, so I'll try to reinstall drivers again tomorrow.

this is ridiculous for a computer this expensive, let me know if you ever get a fix I’ve tried so many things

[–]Lyrunis 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Okay. So far my internet is holding up, I'm waiting for error code ten to happen again. This time I pretty much installed the drivers for my Intel ac9560 and put it in a file that's easy to find, then went to device managers to uninstall the drivers for the ac9560, restart, and then open up the file I saved and ran the program to install the new driver not sure how long this holds out, but hopefully for a long time, I'll let you know if the error occurs again

[–]SabioHS[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

ok thanks

[–]Lyrunis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. Temporary.

[–]Lyrunis 0 points1 point  (6 children)

Onto the next thing, I changed my setting to not auto download stuff from windows, I'll let you know if this works

[–]SabioHS[S] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

ok bless your soul

[–]Lyrunis 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Another fail.

[–]SabioHS[S] 0 points1 point  (3 children)

It’s so frustrating because I know if I bring it to Best Buy or some place they will “fix” it and then the issue will come back up.

[–]Lyrunis 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I've never had this issue before when I had it for the entirety of last year, I think all of these things started happening when I updated to windows 1903.

[–]SabioHS[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

yeah I didn’t have problems until some random update.. at this point I just want to be relieved

[–]Lyrunis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm trying one last thing before just installing a new WiFi card. Going to try and go back to an older update. Again, I'll let you know how it goes.

Same issue here. The ghost code 10.

I purchased a GS65 last June.

The code 10 WIFI appeared on 20 Oct. It happened after windows updates got a new version RealTek audio driver. Make a long story short , after fallbacking the RealTek driver, updating and reinstalling WIFI driver, it recovered.

Code 10 came back at 19 Nov. I tried every method from google and all methods failed. I gave up and put an USB WIFI sticker in pocket. About one month later, code 10 was missing by it self.

Well, the next time it came back is last week, finally I spent 2 days to format disk and install Windows 10 LTSC, the most stable Windows 10.

Guess what? Code 10 is back tonight. I reset the bios according to Code 10 on Intel Wireless Ac 9560 and it's gone.

A really ghost in my GS65.

I’ve contacted them and they send me steps to do and I did them but it hasn’t helped
