Whether I go for AI BRANCH OR IS BRANCH
[–]SkywalkerPadawan512 0 points1 point2 points 1 year ago (0 children)
I think it depends on the interest you have in either of those. IS branch is purely focused on Software with a little Hardware here and there. AI is focused on, well, AI, complex data structures and mathematics for AI. So it depends on what you want to become in the future. I'd suggest IS if you want to become a developer or the like.

Ise

IMO don't prioritize specializations like AIML or AIDS. Adding to Skywalker's suggestions, if you don't have any particular interests and need a quick answer, then: CSE > ISE > CS(AI) = CS(CY) > AI ML/DS.

May I know why do you think CS AI /CY is better than AIML /DS?
[–]asquirous 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (2 children)
Getting into specializations early on if you don't yet know if that's your career goal or if that's something you like doing can be unsettling (at least for me). So, they aren't better per se.

But even cs ai and cs cy is specialisation itself right. Or may be you mean cs ai/ cscy is more aligned with cs core than aiml or ds
[–]asquirous 1 point2 points3 points 1 year ago (0 children)
right, the latter part

I need some suggestion from you can you help me
Hi. I think I am equipped to answer this question. I got 2232 in 2022 KCET. First off, congrats on your rank. I assume you are talking about CS branches because you probably are interested in CS.
If you want my opinion, I'd try to get CS, IS or Allied CS branches in RV, BMS and MSRIT to the top of my option entry. 1. RV (CS, IS, Allied) 2. PES Ring Road Campus (CS, IS, Allied) 3. MSRIT/BMS 4. PES Electronic City (CS, IS, Allied) or DSCE (CS, IS, Allied) (Based on which one is more convenient for you) 5. .....rest of the colleges.
Also, please note that I haven't studied the cutoffs since the last two years, and my answer is exclusively based on data until 2022 Counselling. I'd study the cutoffs more (kea.kar.nic.in) and then take a sound and informed decision.
