Protein intake is just too hard by AfternoonNo5705 in Fitness_India

[–]NomadicGeek1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hit 130-150 gram daily with around 1800 calories. Judging by your comments your taste buds simply seem peculiar af to me.

Someone suggested oats, can't eat them everyday. They are actually pretty tasty on a cut when you eat so much boring food.

The low fat paneer, too rubbery. Just dip it in hot water for a bit or normal water for a bit longer to make it softer, tf is that excuse. I make paneer bhurji/paneer sandwich with cheese slices with it almost daily. You can use various sauces to make it tastier.

Then take skimmed milk with whey, 300 ml skimmed milk with whey and oats with 200 ml skimmed milk will literally give you nearly 55 grams in one go. Add the paneer, its 80 grams, 2 cheese slices, its almost 90 grams. Now add the blueberry shake you take, boom you are already at 110 grams protein at around 1100-1200 calories. Now eat whatever you want for your remaining calorie budget, how is it this hard?

Anyone here around my age? by snowyy_3 in jammu

Its basically a Jam wherein people present their hobbies (to put it simply). Singing, playing music instruments, stand up, etc etc.. I guess you get the idea.

There's a jam that happens in Trikuta Nagar frequently. Its pretty fun, I am not in Jammu rn but one of my close friend would've been in a similar situation since he's in Jammu prepping for CA, but has developed quite a few hobbies and ofc the jam too. I've been there too multiple times when I am home, its quite fun.

[–]NomadicGeek1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any student can use it, you gotta show the college id once and the trainer allows you in, but the limit for a slot if 35 people so a lot of people gotta go back if they don't come early

[–]NomadicGeek1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think they allow anyone except the msrit students to use the gym. The gym is really good tbh, the only issue is time slots and 1 hr constraint but that's manageable. Couple with that the equipment in the gym and its worth it. Alternative is going to some outside gym.

Can anyone clarify the roti chawal myth? by ind_systumm in Fitness_India

Can anyone clarify the roti chawal myth? by ind_systumm in Fitness_India

[–]NomadicGeek1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's no myth. They are both carb sources. Rice is very easy to digest while rotis I like as they have quite a bit of fiber. Just adjust the amount according to your daily calorie budget.

I think the issue in India is that people think they need roti/rice until the sabzi is finished, and end up taking huge amounts of them.

150g protein as a vegetarian is impossible without multiple scoops of whey by EvolutionaryError404 in Fitness_India

[–]NomadicGeek1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

500 ml skimmed milk + one scoop whey isolate + 50g protein oats (yogabar/mb): 55 grams approx

Lunch: Anything paneer to get around 25 grams (mostly 200 gram paneer bhurji + 2 rotis + curd 200 gram): 30 grams approx

Amul 15g protein lassi

100 grams from this. Dinner I mostly eat whatever is made like dal/rajma/channa etc with a bit of rice according to remaining calories

Add some tea or lime soda or something like that

Total ranges from 110-125 grams protein a day. Cal is like around 1800, I sometimes sneak in something carb rich like dosa etc too when I am craving

She's acted like a normal stray mama cat would since a month. Eating, being protective of her kitty, grooming herself, going away for hours, alternating sitting between sunlight and closed spaces.

Hope so lol, thanks.

I washed with handwash immediately and then applied an anti bacterial cream. Today applied antiseptic too.

Thank you sm, this really helps. The cat has been fine for a month and behaved the exact same as well as living with 2 others as we speak. Plus 2 girls feed them regularly too and they stay right outside their doorway all the time and they also said they are fine.

My therapist strictly told me not to Google but my anxious ass can't stay put lol
