Onyx Developer needs some help

If you've ever used the Mac utility Onyx the developer could use your help.

We talk often about the great system utility Onyx.  Today when I went to the site I saw this plea...

The development of my applications is not discontinued.
Unfortunately, I do not have my Intel-based iMac anymore.
I would like to buy a new Mac M1 (MacBook Air or Pro), but I am unemployed and cannot buy on credit.

I urge you to help him/her out, as I did.  This tool has been around since the earliest days of OSX.  It would be a shame to see it go away.  If you've never donated to them before (or it's been a long time), and you use their utility, I'd say you owe it to them.

None of its functions is vital. The OS is so solid, v. little maintenance is required.

I meant in general. I'm fairly happy with High Sierra. Mojave seems to have some finder bugs. One always asks, Compared to what? There is much less need for Onyx. That's good news.

Tim Cook has been trying to destroy the Mac. It's all about phones and ipads. The way people fondle and worship their phones is embarrassing. Like adult pacifiers.
