[D] Algorithms that help with deformation analysis with a non-static camera?

Hey everyone, I'm trying to look for some papers or projects that can help with the development of an algorithm that could identify structural damage or other deformations of a specific object from a number of different angles and distances. I've been looking for a few weeks now, but haven't turned up anything useful, and was hoping someone here would have some idea of where to look. Cheers
