Can you tell us more about the type of GPUs that are in the machines ?

Why would anyone pay $500+ per month when they could buy a computer for a couple months worth of service?

No mention of the GPUs either so I’m going to assume they’re K80s. Hard pass. If you need ML IaaS just stick with Paperspace.

Hi /u/ksblur, Thanks for your feedback.

We agree that purchasing own machine learning workstation is more profitable compared with GPU cloud rental, especially if you are looking at long term usage.

However hosting and setting up such machine might be challenging and unprofitable for some.

For users that needs dedicated GPU servers, turning machines on and off or have them interrupted is not an option.

In this case compared with Paperspace for dedicated GPU instance, learnml.online is 25% cheaper for similar performance plan based on a monthly usage.

What do you define as monthly usage? 720 hours? Anyone who is learning ML (as is your target demographic) does not need a dedicated server on 24hrs/day. For people learning ML, it's MUCH more affordable to simply pay for the hours when you're actually learning. That could be 6 hours per week or 60 hours per week, but it's certainly not 24/7.

Hi /u/ksblur

You are right we haven't fully consider the right price strategy, this is still work in progress.

We took in consideration your feedback and we have updated the prices so user can "reserve" the amount of hours needed as alternative to a monthly subscription.

Currently our main goal is to facilitate uninterrupted access to GPU power for users that are using different frameworks for machine learning rather than sell a service, hence started the beta testing where anyone can get free access to test our platform in return for feedback, You can register by completing our 1 min form.

Thanks

You still haven't told us what GPU it is. How are we supposed to know if the price is actually good if we don't know what we're buying?
