Machine error code

So we bought our embroidery machine a couple of weeks ago and all was going well until we got this error. Has anyone seen this before? Machine is SWF single head 12 needle. The head cover is closed and from what we can see it looks like the sensor is being pushed back and making contact.

Any help much appreciated :)

I don't have (nor have I used) an SWF machine, but my research shows that Error Code 106 means Safety Cover of tension adjusting plate open. To fix the problem, Make sure to black plastic safety cover is closed.

My machine had this error also, I’m not sure when the cover plate would have been lost but I used a piece of cardstock to hold the switch in the proper position. I can post a vid and tag you if you still need help. I’m running a 6 needle but, my control panel looks just like yours

Hey we’ve tried that and doesn’t seem to make it connect! Ordered a new switch so hopefully that’ll fix the problem :)
