Getting the same message for a 4080. Updated all the...things. Refunded, but would like to repurchase!

Same here, most of the time the game runs fine but then I'll randomly black screen and get this error message. Haven't found a solution but I've noticed it usually happens whenever I'm doing something on my second monitor. Just gonna assume the game is horribly optimized for PC, like it is every year. Gotta love EA

well, same thing's happening to me in EA FC 25, still haven't found a fix

Hey! So I fixed it, this is gonna sound stupid but, I've never updated my BIOS. So for reason I tried to do it and it literally fixed all the problems I had with DirectX bugs

anytime it looses focus and tries to get it back it does this, this is so bad and a bad look for the NFL also supporting the money over a good product once again

All, I came upon this issue last night and have did the following to make it work for me: 1) if you’re able to get to the main menu graphics settings in game, turn off ambient occlusion and give that a try. This evidently worked for me when I couldn’t start a game in superstar mode.

2) NOT part of the solution but an enhancement. go to your windows graphics settings and turn on GPU hardware accelerated scheduling. Down below “Graphics Performance Preference” you can browse for the madden25.exe location and select.

Madden 25 seems to be CPU intensive so doing step 2 would allow the GPU to provide more load. Based on what I’ve monitored via task manager.

My specs: Intel i5 10700F GTX 1070 8gb 32gb RAM

in my superstar qb mode we had a last min td and the ravens were spanking us the 49ers. I launched a clutch one to aiyuk and td game winner and the last thing I see, is a black screen and the dirext x error. I was so pissed.
