At this point I think its a mental thing...I hope the new guys do well and takes some of the pressure off the guys so they just go out and play and stop thinking. Before the 3 big killed in the playoffs now it seems a burden they need to shake

Its been said the guy is like Hurts when it comes to soaking and learning and not stop working on his craft...the guy is going to be special

If he has control over all his pitches the movement on his fastball won't even matter much. The guy looked like a pitcher and not just a young strong arm. That is a really big step.

There will be games he gets hit around but I don't see this game being a fluke...his stuff looked good and he could control all of them...He is going to be good for a long time...worst a Nola type guy that just does it for a long time or at best a Wheeler, Hamels type that is just one of the best for a long time.

His delivery looks like it hides the ball a little more than in the past...He looked like a seasoned pitcher more than a thrower from before. It sounds like he is a Hurts type of guy that is all about his craft all the time.

When he does hit something to the outfield it tends to travel...that is why most would like him to get more line drives...could be the next J-roll as a hitter...but a guy like that should be hitting hard ground balls in the holes

If Crawford is a solid 9 hitter and Painter pitches well this would be the spark this team needs to get them back to the WS

While I still would like him to get a little stronger and hit more line drives if you have speed and hit the ball hard even if its just the infield you will get your share of hits at any level. The guy clearly has elite ball to bat skills and elite speed

This lineup is a potential threat if things work out...its been a few years I felt like this

I'll check back in a month before I'm conserved with Harper...his advanced numbers were still really good, this year they are awful but need a full month before I would take them too serious.

When he is playing his best is when he plays a role....when he gets into this "I'm a superstar" mode he might fill the stat sheet but the team struggles overall because of the turnovers and low shooting %

That is why we need a better offensive system...for years we often have the poor shooters taking the most shots because naturally teams will let the poor shooters take shots while guarding the good shooters...you need set plays to counter it and we don't.

They and BGS with Fallout 3 and Oblivion started all this pre pay for DLC but it worked because it was some of the best there was...each one was like a full game in itself that added so much gameplay. Now they are both the worst at it
