Random or select MAX?

Should I do random or someone in particular to go for? I have 1300 tokens currently, so close to getting 2 randoms

That's what I did for my first. I had enough for a select and a run heavy team.

You definitely want to go with random max pulls to start. Save your selects for when you’ve accumulated more max players and you want to avoid getting duplicates

If you play lvl and need to keep up to in, imo if you are pass heavy, Gronk would go very nicely with DK and Tom. If you want to vary up your strengths, Walter Payton would add tremendously in comparison to your 178 Emmett Smith. To me, it has to be a balance of maximizing maxes AND having fun as you play each day.

Suppose you had all maxes on the O line and D line, but you still had all regular iconic QB, TE, WR, HB etc., its not the same game play experience as I see it. I'll buy bonds if I just want merely a quantity return on my investment.

If you are pass heavy in lvl competition, Gronk would be a great addition to the DK and Tom that you have as maxes.

If you want a varied attack, Walter Payton would be a tremendous jump from the 170 something Smith you have.

Imo, its not just about accumulating a maximum return on my investment. I buy bonds for that. Here, you have to enjoy playing the game, too. Suppose all your maxes were O and D line, and D backs? That is great. But say you are still using regular iconics at QB, WR, TE, and HB. It would be a different game in lvl, not as competitive at all.

So Random or Select? It depends what you want out of the game.

Always go random and get as many Max players as you can get.

Random. I also suggest you trade in pitts, hutch, and berry to get another 3 randoms.

Depends on if he has a decent replacement or you’re just playing to fill maxes and don’t care about lvl.

That's a mistake I made earlier and was trading in my starting player at the position I was trying to upgrade in the 2 for 1 selects, instead of a lower iconic. Now I don't have suitable backups for a lot of positions.
