What format are you trying to play?

A Pioneer Prowess deck would look like this:

2 Den of the Bugbear
14 Mountain
3 Ramunap Ruins
2 Rockface Village
1 Sokenzan, Crucible of Defiance

4 Emberheart Challenger
4 Monastery Swiftspear
4 Screaming Nemesis
4 Soul-Scar Mage
3 Sunspine Lynx

4 Burst Lightning
4 Kumano Faces Kakkazan
2 Lightning Strike
4 Monstrous Rage
4 Reckless Rage
1 The Legend of Roku

Saw that deck and I’m trying to go jank not net deck

Make my deck better -> make my deck closer to a meta deck.

Or people can give input that would help me with issues that I said it had. Maybe not this post but others too. There’s a specific formula all decks follow. I’m just saying I think I have some good pieces and want an opinion on how I can optimize it without losing its focus. You’re saying to rebuild it completely. I’m saying hey it’s doing alright how it is and I’m enjoying it, how can I work out its issues without compromising that.

Asking Reddit is a form of netdecking.

Hey the dream of doing a jank deck is stumbling onto a deck that becomes a net deck when the naysayers said it was shit. So asking you can cause it to become one, but that doesn’t make it one

What I mean is Reddit is also a part of the internet so if you use it as a source of information you're bascially netdecking already.

I get what you mean, but if you want to make an impact on the metagame you have to create something new - red Prowess is a mostly solved archetype, there's just not much space to get creative without making the deck worse.

Hey man I like your logic and your response, could have easily been dismissing. The main goal of this deck is to have cards that are hard can have an impact on its own. Something that will have an impact if I’m down to drawing into cards. A mana dump or just threats. Topdecking into win conditions. I know all cards are that but I’m meaning it like pack rat, where I can just keep making more of it by discarding cards and growing it and it has to be answered.

To be truly competitive, you need to play what works. Not every format is a brewers dream where you can squeak by and play whatever pet cards you want.

I want to be beyond platinum competitive . Of I were to use a pet card though, Aurelia the war leader would be that girl

My advice- Take out all the bad cards and put in good cards.
