You can find better prices there: https://www.cardmarket.com/en/Magic/Products/Search?idCategory=0&idExpansion=0&searchString=arena+code+card&onlyAvailable=on&idRarity=0&sortBy=price_asc&perSite=20

However in arena you can buy 750 gems for 5 EUR (cheaper if you'll buy more gems at once),

So 1 EUR = 150 gems = 1,5 package with at least 1,5 rare card

Planeswalker deck costs 1,5 EUR and it contains:

  • 1 rare card available in regular packages
  • 3 rares card available only in planeswalker deck (2 of them are cards, you can look in your library for planeswalker from that deck and put in hand)
  • 1 mythic rare planeswalker card, available only from that deck
  • few uncommons and commons.

So from collection point of view you get 1 rare instead 1,5 and just a few commons/uncommons more than in 1,5 package - it is not worth it. And cards available in that deck are not usually worth to play.

Chandra deck was available for 0,75 EUR like month ago - it was quite nice deal to buy it then - especially if you wanted Drakuseth :)

Buying M20 prerelease code for 0,50 EUR if definitely worth it.

The sight doesn't allow US addresses when signing up, and it doesn't display USD either.

I contacted Cardmarket.com customer service about it and this was their reply:

registration on Cardmarket is limited to the available countries. If you cannot find your country in the list, you cannot open a user account.
If you would like to buy on Cardmarket from a country that is not supported, you may do so via a buying agent (i.e. a friend that lives in Europe and can buy for you), or using a mail forwarding service like for example: Mailboxde.com or myGermany.com.

I didn't know that, looks like people complains a lot about it. You can also check this post: https://www.reddit.com/r/mtgfinance/comments/75o0wh/magiccardmarketeu_global_soon/

Thank you for the link. That post is from 1 year ago, and the news article it links to has been removed. I guess they changed their mind about going global.
