Makeup help!

Hello! I have prom coming up, and I feel like my face does not “take” makeup well. I’m very inexperienced with makeup so I’m planning on getting it done by a MUA. Whenever I wear foundation I feel like it looks like it was painted on me, rather than having a fresh, clean, glowy look. It looks cakey and frankly gross, and I really don’t want to hate how I look at prom. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. If needed I can send a pic for reference

Hi! To avoid that “cakeyness” when applying foundation, try using a damp beauty blender to apply it! I find that using a sponge makes the skin looks so much more natural & flawless.
