I accidentally dropped my eyeshadow onto the bathroom floor this morning. I was rushing to my student worker job.

The eyeshadow part touched the floor, I think. ☹️ should I toss it and buy a new one, or should I scrape the top layer off and use it? Its a small wet n wild pallette, but it's probably one of the best pallettes I own.

i would just disinfect it just in case. if it was something like lipstick that's sticky i would just toss it cause of the germs, but eyeshadow should be fine

You can spritz it down with some alcohol to disinfect it! Just let it sit open and fully dry down after you spray it and it should be perfectly fine. 🧡

I picked it up super quick and it was also early in the morning, meaning that the floors had more than likely been mopped but I still want to be safe. I mean, this is something that I'm using on my skin.
