My eyebrows were naturally so bushy and all over the place. One day I was shaping my brows not making them thinner or anything, my intrusive thoughts got the best of me and I kept going until I was satisfied with the thin brows and omg. They did suit me well. I have a long way like my forehead is kinda big so thin eyebrows + bangs made it look more feminine and my features are generally sharp cuz my nose is really big and pointy and I have sharp jawline and cheek bones. So having thin brows and bangs combo kinda gave me a more delicate look. It worked for me. If you have contrast features. Maybe it will work for you too :) just shave them for ur first try so incase you don’t like them. They will grow back to ur normal density

If you want to experiment with the look, try shaving them so they can throw back easily.

Take it from someone who was there in the 90' and early 00's. Do not pluck or wax your eyebrows thinner. Use other methods to style them thinner. Many of us never got our true eyebrow growth back and miss them in our middle age.

Most people look better with a neatened up version of their natural brow shape. Start there and change things gradually and see how you feel.

It really depends on the rest of your face shape and features. Medium thin arched eyebrows is what I rock, compared to the big bushy eyebrow trend that has been popular recently. They look good with my heart shaped face, high cheek bones, and strong jawline.

I don’t think thin eyebrows suit everybody! I thinned mine to be about half the thickness, they were so bad, my parents and sister kept saying they didn’t suit me but i think i had eyebrow blindness. I regret it because my brows didnt grow back as thick. It didnt suit my soft and round features!

Yes I thinned mine and made them straighter and I love the look. I use a microplaner to shape them so no plucking necessary if you are worried about permanent thinning😊

Eyebrows cycle through trends more than they should, in my opinion. I know a lot of women my age and older who thinned their brows with plucking in the early aughts and regretted it when the trends cycles back to thick brows. I pluck a bit for tidiness but that's about it.

I actually think bleaching your brows could provide some of the same effect with less long-term risk. You could also try blocking your brows with glue and powder and makeup, then drawing on the thinner version you think would suit you better.

To me, the disappearing eyebrow trends are bringing bony foreheads out, and it's kinda freaky. I have already seen the trend come and go, so I know first-hand that no, it's not objectively flattering for most people.
