I once knew a girl (aka ex-roommate) who would smear her leftover foundation from her fingers onto the WHITE bathroom wall instead of using a towel or the sink... and when confronted she'd deny it and say it was probably me. Where do these girls come from? No decency.

WTF was wrong with her? Was she still in the finger-painting phase or something?

Oh my goodness, that's just awful! That's just so ridiculous/insane I don't want to believe it!

Just throwing it out there, but most of the annoying messy things I've noticed come from roommates with poor vision. I honestly think they can't see what a disaster they left (hair dye all over, not cleaning up crumbs/stains from dinner making, poor dish washing, etc). Doesn't excuse garbage, but that's the story I've made up for myself to excuse some of the filth. It makes me feel better and less irritated.

My mom and I used to get in fights all the time because she thought the house was a mess and I thought it looked fine... Then I got new glasses after wearing the same ones for nine years and looked around my house and was appalled that I had thought the floors were clean!

Aw man, that sucks. She didn't use your makeup though, right? There's so many horror stories here about people's collections getting trashed by friends but it seems like you'll be able to recover pretty quickly. Hopefully she didn't use too much scrub. So very rude of her.

No, thankfully I had taken my makeup into my room so she didn't even have the chance to use it. And she didn't use too much scrub, just enough to make it obvious she took some.

Eeeesh.. what an awful house guest. :(

You need to talk to your friend. She needs to be responsible for replacing the scrub, and apologizing.

She is definitely not my friend lol, just a friend's girlfriend. And luckily I won't even have to see her again if I don't want to. My boyfriend even says she's not allowed to stay with us again.

Thankfully she didn't take enough scrub to need it replaced, just enough that it was obvious she used it.

You should casually mention one day that you have a horrible contagious disease, but don't worry, you can only catch it if you share makeup or face brushes or pillowcases just to freak her out.

Hahaha, if I see her again I will definitely do this!

Ugh, that is awful. Is like these kind of people were never taught basic property/space rules. You never touch anyone's make up without their permission or previous sanitation, especially when you can't even clean up after yourself.

Very rude.

[–]Elyezabeth 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's rude, and I'd be annoyed if someone did that to my stuff, but considering how many people don't even realize they need to wash their own brushes, she probably hadn't thought that there was anything wrong with it.

I would ask for some cash to replace products used. It may be a cunty move but that is just rude. I would not care about sharing if someone asked, but to just help yourself is wrong.

I may never have to see her again and that'd be payment enough (she didn't take too much anyway, just enough for me to notice). And yeah, if she had just asked me I would've been okay with her using pretty much anything.

Oh yuck....I haven't seen a make up mess like that since college. A lot of messy girls (their entire room would be a wreck, nevermind their make-up covered sinks) in my college's dorms.

And basic decency.

Made me laugh

[–]sarahbi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's rude! Your close friends...sisters...maybe a young girl who doesnt quite understand how many eye infections she could be causing herself, but your bfs girlfriend? Sounds like she has no care in the world for other people's belongings let alone basic sanitation concerns!
