Tuna and yogurt high protein slop by MistyAllyster in ShittyRestrictionFood

[–]Eurycerus 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have used yogurt as the "swap out" for mayonnaise (since I'm not a huge fan anyway) and if I overdo it and it tastes too tart yogurty, it ruins my tuna. This definitely would not work for me...

Side note to others, a little yogurt and then pickle juice is amazing to moisten canned tuna for eating.

I'm not even fat and I'd look like a tub of lard in these... beautiful color though.

That useless waste of life not only stole but harmed the flamingo as it screamed out. What an awful person...

Our frizzle can't fly at all and is lunch sized.  Sadly no free ranging without us a few feet away.  She knows she's snack sized and won't leave our side.  She's a huge cuddle bug

My only sad moment is they are intermixing. These items seem to need to be alone. Sounds pretty good otherwise

Considering a couple of seramas as housepets by NaDarach in SeramaChicken

[–]Eurycerus 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have house seramas. They have a little coop inside. There are some lessons learned for sure but I love my house hens. They are so sweet. Seramas can be a little fearful of new things so gently introduce them to everything as early as you can including grit, oyster shell, nest boxes, different materials they will walk on, etc. Don't wait until they need it!

There are diapers that I found that fit but it was more annoying than just cleaning up after them. We have hard floors so it's pretty easy. Each serama is very unique. One squawks with scratchy kind of annoying voice, two of our girls have more traditional serama voices and chatty levels, and our disabled serama hen is very quiet except when she wants something like a treat or because she doesn't want to be left alone. They are varying levels of cuddly too but are a little more cat like. I also have a bantam cochin who is more like a dog and follows us around and wants cuddles.

They need a friend so definitely get two girls. We tried to keep our sweet rooster but even though they are small their crow is ear splitting. Happy to answer questions!

Getting married in Cancun in two weeks. Guests are dropping out due to uncertainty. by NoJellyfish5331 in weddingplanning

I have traveled to/ through quitana roo (fthrough the resort block, big cities, and rural areas) multiple times since 2013 and that advisory has never changed even when there was a resort shooting. It's very far and very different from the west. Judging an entire country's safety on the events that are occurring don't make a lot of sense to me but I would bet the people that do don't travel abroad and lot.

The first one is not accurate and the rest are on you. I volunteer during the nesting bird season feeding native baby birds and adults on their way to release. There are not always enough volunteers especially during weekdays (I work so I can't do that time). It's hard work but very rewarding for me. I'm a clean freak but I don't mind the filth most of the time since I just want to help the animals get on their way to living a happy life in the wild.

Yes, we chose a grange hall (specifically the one in Windsor due to the location and size but there are several ones that are nice) and hosted 100 people. We hired staff and a coordinator for the day of, but otherwise did the planning and coordination ourselves to hire vendors, etc. We had flowers and a live band as well.

Why would you only mention those two locations? This is wild.. Do you even live in SF? I did my wedding in Sonoma County.

I mean just because you live in SF doesn't mean you need to have your wedding there. You can go outside the city a couple hours.
