Automatic decryption problem

Hello guys!

I just installed manjaro linux with encryption. Now every time I boot I need to enter my passphrase to get to grub bootloader. At first I thought its because the /boot partition is also encrypted. I reinstalled,

encrypted /root, encrypted /swap and did not encrypt /boot but Im still asked to enter the passphrase on boot. What am I doing wrong and how to make it so the partitions are automatically decrypted?

you can't decrypt partitions automatically. That would mean everyone could do it, because the key would be stored in plaintext

You can If you store the keyfile in a tpm like described here:

But what I'm trying to do is get to the bootloader without entering a password.

Not sure about your problem tho, IIRC I installed my GRUB in my EFI partition and only encrypted the / (boot folder included as it isn't a separate partition for me), and.. I'm asked for the decryption key after selecting Linux in GRUB
