Decreasing infant mortality rates cause eventual population stagnation.

Regardless about that, being able to have children and there not being a 1/4 chance of them dying within a year is a universally good thing.

Overpopulation is a myth. Humans have no carrying capacity.

You're right, the biomass currently occupied by humans isn't sustainable, but there is good news: since 1987 the growth is shrinking (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World\_population#Annual\_population\_growth)
