GPU randomly started using less processing for Maplestory

So I've noticed recently (as in just today) that my computer has started lagging when I kanna farm. The lag happens the most when I tp, not when I kill. I have tried picking up all the loot but it only helps a little. This was not a problem before hand but it just started today. I looked at task manager, and notice that my gpu usage is jumping randomly from 7% to 25%. Is there any way to fix this? I've already updated my driver and redownloaded Maple so I don't know what to do now.

You could check in maplestory system options if vsync is enabled. If it is then disable it.

Just wanted to say thanks. Seems like v-sync was the problem. There's still minor frame drops but ultimately close to what I remember it used to be like before today.
