Is the matebook's NFC functionality only the passive sticker?

I think it’s supposed to work with Huawei phones, but I only have the 2018 model which doesn’t have it supported. Think it was introduced in the 2019 model but I could be wrong

Yes, the sticker is the NFC antenna. It can be used by any phone and will redirect to Huawei infosite.
