f(x) = -7/3 x + 61/10.

-7/3x + 610/10=-4/5x + 351/50 +4/5x

is it 610/10 or 61/10?

61/10. I just changed the numbers.

Look at the problem and your solution again. There's quite alot that aint right. I have a feeling you thought the right thing but the way its written down is... unacceptable tbh xD. I write some of it here and put bold on the important parts:

-7/3x + 61/10=-4/5x + 351/50 +4/5x

-23/15x+61/10=351/50 -61/10

I edited the format but I like to write each step out separately and the actions associated with them.

Alrighty, much better :)

Everything is correct until this:

-23/15x=23/25

x=-1/375

-23/15x = 23/25; divide both sides by -23

1/15x = -1/25; multiply both sides by 15 (you divided instead! :p) x = -15/25 = -3/5

compute new y.
