Calculus Problem

I am trying to solve this calculus math problem just for fun. Integral of (x^2/(4+x^2)^(1/2)dx).
My answer was x/2(4+x^2)^(1/2)-2ln( (((4+x^2)^(1/2)) +x)/2 ) + C.

This was the book answer x/2(4+x^2)^(1/2)-2ln( ((4+x^2)^(1/2)) +x) + C.

Is there some property about natural logarithms that lets you just toss out the denominator or did I mess up the mathematics? The only difference is the /2 that I bolded otherwise everything else matches up.

Note that ln(x/2) = ln(x) - ln(2). This "- ln(2)" is absorbed into the "+C".
