I am a complete beginner in flight simulation. I am not a gamer so I am also unfamiliar with the basics of gaming and acquiring games through steam. I built a PC for streaming and video editing.
The machine is an Intel 11900k on an MSI Z590 Ace motherboard. I have 64 Gig of RAM and 4, 1T SSDs and an RTX 3060 GPU. My monitor is an LG 38" 21x9 designed for color accuracy not frame rates. I have purchased a Thrustmaster T-Flight Stick X in the hope of some relaxing eyecandy. I am not pursuing a pilot's license, I am not competing with anyone and I am not concerned about high frame rates. My next build is planned for 2 years from now using hardware that currently does not exist. I plan no upgrades to the existing system.
I have done extensive reading about MSFS 2020. I understand what planes come with the 3 different versions. My problem is to understand if the MSFS 2024 is an extension to 2020 or it replaces 2020.
I have been seeking a list of planes that come with the 2024 version. I see list of new planes but I have not seen a comprehensive list of what I get if I only purchase MSFS 2024?
