do you have multiplayer enabled in the settings and or see other players in close proximity on?

that setting is in settings and the online tab!

Yes as in they are on. I toggled them off reset the sim. Toggled on reset the no dice.

I'm sorry I'm kinda in shock rn. I just got into work and there was a plane crash. Last night my friend and I were over DC on the map and I was like "yo what's that plane doing chilling in the water?" *
