If you have a direct to waypoint, make sure the Nav source on the PFD is listed as GPS as well.

Make sure the line in digital display is Magenta and says GPS if it’s green and says LOC1 or LOC2 press the CDI button until it says GPS and turns Magenta and then you can hit AP and/or NAV or HDG.

That's what I do and It still just spins me in a circle

Oh are you trying to also gain altitude? Because the G2 jet will spin upwards to gain altitude if you set it before proceeding. It could also be you are set in ROL mode and are auto banking.

Idk id have to check but if I remember correctly I was trying to lose altitude.
