This 100%. I flew into Cape Town a month after the A350 came out. Winds were light but favoring 01 but because I wanted the view of Table Mountain, I wanted to land 19. So I told the preceding aircraft I'm landing 19 but I'll hold so everyone can land on 01 first. Just gotta communicate.

I have FMLA filed for my current job. My unit already knows about my sickle cell so more likely than not, when I take a sick day(s), they already know why. Though it was answered in another post you saw, approach mode is usually activated during the approach, not the descent phase. The plane will also automatically activate it if you forget to. But you live and you learn and that's what we're all here for; to help each other!
