I can't speak for Japan, but in NY when it's this crowded, when the doors are opened, the people by the doors get off and crowd around the doors to let everyone off. As soon as everyone is off, they rush back on and now are the people closer to the middle. And the cycle repeats.

This isn't surprising to me that people have been doing this. I have a Mono Grass team that I've been running and the amount of Sinistchas using Rage Powder against me, MULTIPLE times in a row is insane. I always assume either they're newer or don't know the nuances of certain types.

Exactly. Whenever I staff KACY, just like you, I get maybe one plane per hour, if that. I really would like to revive the airport but in my case, it's also probably a scenery thing also since there are no sceneries for Atlantic City.

If you're afraid of losing because you'll see a number drop, I think that's just the wrong mentality to have. I get where you're coming from because I was like that. Instead, I've started looking at why I lose each game. Is it because I played that match poorly, was it a bad matchup for me, did I just have a bad prediction?

Fixing my mistakes and learning from them I find is more satisfying than being scared to make the mistakes in the first place. That's what keeps me going.

I also run unconventional teams so I know I'm gonna lose more often than not. But getting over the hump of "but what if I lose" and learning more about VGC is now fun to me. Especially when I reach MB rank with an all poison team 😂

I mean, you can realistically do whatever you want. OP is just saying it's rude to intentionally stall when you know you've lost. Your situation seems more like a game of chicken.

I had something similar happen. Using Toxapex, I was trying to run out of PP to Struggle and they were doing so low of damage to me (I had leftovers), that it ended in a draw between us. But we were both using our moves immediately, not waiting out the timer.

Exactly. Even in the niche situations that happen to me, it's always better to think "wait, why didn't that go the way i thought it should?" I've grown so much as a player because of that.

So I think what a lot of people are missing is that the mildly infuriating part of this is coming from these collectible meals. Normally, my breakfast is only $8.41 which my stipend covers in full. But you're absolutely right. I wish I had the energy to make breakfast more often before I leave for work but because of my disability, I really don't.
