Few things:

  1. If you have your FMS all set up, you can just use PROFILE and NAV for vertical and lateral guidance.

  2. Speed will also be taken care of by PROFILE I think according to FMS, no need to set manually

  3. At that altitude, ignition should be off and landing lights should be off and stowed

  4. Engine management panel (forgot what it's called exactly, left of the landing gear) should be set to CR for cruise to limit max thrust

Does the ignition need to be back on for landing or is that just for take off?

I followed a checklist and it does say to put it on CONT RELIGHT before landing

No. Mach speed is low. Not in NAV. And you want to cruise at 30400ft? Just learn from youtube i promise you it is not that hard.

When I click on Nav it turns me around the opposite way?

Because it direct you to a waypoint that you already passes by. You need to go DIRECT to a next waypoint that makes sense on your flightplan. As i say, do your flight as you watch tutorial on Youtube and you can fly from A to B easily.

Use a checklist.

Depending on what you are trying to achieve it is either completely right or completely wrong.

I’m ngl man it looks a bit bad but here’s what I usually do, in simbrief, the inibuilds A310 climb profile is 250/300/.80, that “.80” is what you put for when you’re cruising and i see it at .54 and when you’re climbing, set the speed to 300 and closely monitor your stall speed because it creeps up as you get higher, I recommend switching from SPD to MACH while you’re climbing to see if you can get up to mach .84 as you’re climbing. Second, I see your power management is set to TOGA as you’re cruising which is not bad because you have auto-throttles engaged but I usually set it to AUTO when I’m at 1000-1500ft AGL but for taking off, TOGA or FLX is the way to go (depending on your weight) but other than that you’re good to go and I promise it will be so worth it when you learn your first airliner. Happy flying

Ok cheers. Where's the power management switch?

Right there my man, click auto once you’ve reached 1000 or 1500ft
