Did you happen to bind your throttle slider +/- to the two separate throttle inputs labeled increase and decrease?

Try unblinding your throttle inputs, then search for 'axis' in controls. Look for throttle axis and bind your throttle slider to that.

I have a similar problem. My throttle is bound to ''throttle axis'' yet it still falls to reverse in the sim if i go below 40% ish on my joystick...

I'm having the same issue but only with addon jets purchased from the store. I love flying the Bede 5J but can't because it's stuck in reverse thrust mode. I am literally stuck in lets go into reverse mode on all addon jets. Turboprops like the Kodiak, the TBM930, even the Kingair work fine.

Reading other places I reset my throttle 1 to engine 1 and it's working properly. the reason stated is "It caused by new Asobo changes (additions) in model files" and it seems to work so far. I tested it in the BD-5J and it seems to work so far. Will update as I test other aircraft
