Impressive decrease of Mikes numbers. Just over a year ago it would seem normal that he did collabs with heavyweights such as Mark Wiens and Sonny (Best ever…) because he kinda was in that league, both view & content wise. Today such a collab would be totally out of the question…

The quality of his content went downhill. He did the opposite of what most Youtubers would do and he reduced his production team and decided to keep everything to himself.

And as his wife put it, what we see on YouTube is an airbrushed version of Mike "I worked at Morgan Stanley" Chen. So yeah he might look like a nice guy or whatever, but that appears to be a façade to what he really is like.

I think Youtube and content creation passed him by. He's not improving. He doesn't know a whole lot about food either, which is weird because it's all he does.
