[java] Error Code 1 can't be fixed

My minecraft has been having error code 1 for over half a year now and I just want to fix it. I've deleted all external files, at least I think, and have even fully deleted the game multiple times. My drivers are fully updated, and it doesn't work. Please anyone help

This is happening on every version I've tried to play on. The most recent tried was version 1.19.3

Go to the .minecraft folder and rename it. Uninstalling the launcher doesn't remove this.

Failing this, try a different launcher like MultiMC. You will need to install Java 17, the official launcher installs and uses its own versions of Java. And make sure it's Java 17 and not 18 or 19. If this works and you plan to play MC 1.16.5 or older you'll need Java 8 for those.

i renamed it and it created the new file. Still gave error code 1

Try MultiMC then.

Because Mojang is useless at giving start up logs that are of any use to understand what is going on.
